5K MONSTER DASH
FUN WALK/RUN
The Monster Dash, a Halloween-themed 5K run, aims to bring the community together for a fun-filled day of costumes, fitness, and giving back. In its inaugural year, the event raised over $3,800 in support of Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS), helping provide crisis care, daytime programs, and essential resources for youth ages 15–24 facing challenging circumstances. The event not only raised vital funds but also fostered community spirit and awareness for an important local cause.

COMPETION
The 2026 Case Competition focused on the topic of... Where students formed teams and were asked to provide a slide deck to present within a 24 hour window. With the short time, many teams completed their presentations, and provided solutions in helping the Youth in our city. With our judges that came from the University, YESS and the City of Edmonton, the case competition helped lead a plethora of innovative ways to showcase what it means to help one another in times of need.

BADMINTON
TOURNAMENT
Our Badminton Tournament brought together friends, fellow students and family in raising awareness for Youth Experiencing Homelessness. The event helped raise $800 for YESS! Through the tournament we asked players of the importance of raising support and how many who came to play for the fun, left with the impact of how their participation helps Youth in our city.
